In 2024, Yellow Door Energy, a well-known sustainable energy partner in the Middle East and Africa, accomplished a number of noteworthy milestones. The company added 32.7 megawatts-peak (MWp) to its portfolio by successfully commissioning 27 solar power projects in the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Oman, and South Africa. Yellow Door Energy released its second sustainability report, “From Promise to Progress: Our Journey Towards a Just Energy Transition,” as part of its commitment to sustainability. The report focuses on the progress made in reaching Net Zero goals and decarbonizing operations. In addition, the business reaffirmed its dedication to environmental excellence by releasing its second carbon footprint report.
Accolades & Industry Recognition
In 2024, the firm won six major industry awards for its accomplishments, including Bahrain’s Al Bilad Award for Corporate Social Responsibility in the Environmental Excellence category and SolarQuarter’s Excellence in Solar Project Management Award.

Initiatives for Education and Community Engagement
By holding seven instructional workshops throughout the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Jordan, and South Africa, Yellow Door Energy further demonstrated their commitment to community involvement. Highlights consist of:
Project Daw in Jordan: 20 young people will receive free instruction in the design and installation of solar power systems.
Twenty secondary school students will take the INJAZ Solar Plant Tour in Bahrain, which will provide them with knowledge about solar energy.
Milestones in Operations
Across all of its projects, the business deployed 61,500 solar panels in 2024 using carport, ground-mounted, and rooftop systems. The company’s dedication to quality and safety was demonstrated by these efforts, which comprised over 550,000 person-hours with zero recordable incidents.
With 842,000 megawatt-hours of clean power produced thus far, Yellow Door Energy’s projects have helped the region achieve its clean energy and Net Zero goals while lowering carbon emissions by 328,000 metric tons.
