Dubai, UAE – September 26, 2025 — Dubai is set to host the 27th edition of the Water, Energy, Technology and Environment Exhibition (WETEX) from 30 September to 2 October 2025 at the Dubai World Trade Centre. Organized by Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), the event is being held under the directives of HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and the patronage of HH Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Supreme Council of Energy.
Positioned as one of the world’s leading platforms for sustainable innovation, WETEX 2025 will bring together thousands of experts, investors, decision-makers, and companies showcasing technologies that drive the global shift to clean and renewable energy.
Aligning with the UAE’s Net Zero Goals
HE Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD & CEO of DEWA and Founder and Chairman of WETEX, said the exhibition supports both the UAE Net Zero 2050 Strategy and the National Hydrogen Strategy 2050.
“WETEX is an opportunity to enhance cooperation between the UAE and international partners in sustainability. By 2030, clean energy will make up 36% of the UAE’s energy mix.
