Riyadh, Saudi Arabia – Trinasolar, a global pioneer in smart photovoltaic (PV) and energy storage technologies, is reinforcing its long-term commitment to Saudi Arabia’s clean energy ambitions by achieving over 35% localization and introducing several first-of-its-kind innovations at Solar & Storage Live KSA 2025, held from October 12 to 14 at the Riyadh Front Exhibition & Conference Center.
The company’s participation highlights its support for Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 goals, focusing on sustainable industrial growth, technological innovation, and renewable energy integration across the Kingdom.
Driving Localization and Sustainable Growth
Trinasolar has surpassed the 35% localization threshold mandated by the Saudi government, with some projects achieving even higher levels. This accomplishment underscores the company’s commitment to building a sustainable and self-reliant renewable energy ecosystem within the Kingdom.
A key enabler of this success is Trinasolar’s TrinaTracker factory in Jeddah, established under a land-lease agreement with MODON in the Third Industrial City. The facility, with an annual production capacity of 3 gigawatts, supports faster local delivery, job creation, and technology transfer — all crucial components of the Saudi government’s renewable energy localization strategy.

Introducing Next-Generation Smart Energy Solutions
At the exhibition, Trinasolar unveiled a comprehensive portfolio of products tailored for Saudi Arabia’s renewable energy landscape. These include the Vertex N module (NEG21C.20), with an impressive power output of up to 740 watts, and the Elementa 3 energy storage platform, both debuting for the first time in the Saudi market.
The Vertex N 740W module, built on 210mm n-type i-TOPCon technology, delivers up to 23.8% efficiency and reduced Levelized Cost of Energy (LCOE), offering exceptional reliability even under high-temperature conditions common in the Gulf region.
Meanwhile, the Elementa 3 storage platform integrates 587Ah high-capacity cells and intelligent temperature control, ensuring superior safety, energy density, and operational stability — even at temperatures reaching 55°C.
Complementing these solutions, Trinasolar also showcased the TrinaTracker systems and the Trinabot BUILDEX, an AI-powered robotic cleaning solution designed to optimize plant operations and improve long-term energy yield. These innovations collectively form a complete solar and storage ecosystem, enhancing efficiency and performance across utility-scale, commercial, and industrial projects.
Strategic Collaborations to Boost Regional Expansion
A highlight of Trinasolar’s presence at Solar & Storage Live KSA 2025 was the announcement of new partnerships aimed at strengthening its regional foothold.
The company signed an agreement welcoming Sky Energy as its new distributor in Saudi Arabia, expanding access to Trinasolar’s advanced solar technologies and supporting the country’s clean energy deployment.
In another major development, Trinasolar revealed a cooperation agreement between Trinabot and MAN, focusing on advancing photovoltaic installation robotics. This collaboration will combine expertise in automation and renewable energy to accelerate intelligent installation practices across the Middle East and Africa (MEA).

With nearly three decades of innovation, Trinasolar has shipped over 200 gigawatts of 210mm modules and 12 gigawatt-hours of energy storage systems globally.
