A Solar Power System Will Produce 4 Million kWh Every Year

A cutting-edge 2,500 kWh solar panel system will be installed on several campus rooftops as part of the project. It is anticipated that this system will produce an astounding 4 million kWh of renewable energy per year, mostly for the university’s energy needs.

Every year, the program will save more than 6,600 barrels of oil and cut about 2,000 metric tonnes of carbon emissions. In order to put this into perspective, the emission decrease is equivalent to the annual environmental impact of planting almost 39,000 tree seedlings, making it an essential step in the fight against climate change.
