Riyadh, Saudi Arabia — GameChange Solar, a global leader in solar tracker and fixed-tilt racking systems, has announced a major expansion of its manufacturing operations in Saudi Arabia, unveiling plans to double its annual production capacity to 6 gigawatts (GW) by September 2025.
The expanded facility will continue producing the company’s flagship Genius Tracker™ systems, tailored for utility-scale solar projects. This strategic move aligns with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, which aims to position the Kingdom as a global hub for renewable energy while meeting local content targets of up to 70%.
“This is a long-term commitment, not just to supply equipment, but to be part of Saudi Arabia’s energy future,” said Jason Wang, Vice President – China & Southeast Asia at GameChange Solar. “We’re building locally, staying close to our customers, and preparing for what’s next.”
Already operational, the Saudi facility’s increased capacity will enable the company to accelerate the delivery of advanced solar tracking systems across the region, ensuring faster deployment of large-scale solar projects.
The Genius Tracker™, now in its tenth generation, is specifically engineered to endure harsh desert climates. Celebrated for its durability, ease of installation, and operational efficiency, the system has been deployed in more than 40 GW of solar projects across 26 countries and six continents.
By scaling up its operations in the Kingdom, GameChange Solar reinforces its role in the global clean energy transition and demonstrates a strong commitment to Saudi Arabia’s renewable energy ambitions.
