August 11, 2023 (WAM) — DUBAI The goal of the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) is to use youth talent to promote sustainable growth and a more environmentally friendly future. Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, the Managing Director and CEO of DEWA, highlighted the organization’s dedication to fostering young talent and innovation on International Youth Day.

The Young Workforce Statistics from DEWA

At the moment, DEWA employs 2,956 people between the ages of 18 and 35, or 27.4% of its workforce. Of these, 2,072 are Emirati, making up 18.9% of the workforce. With the goal of preparing the upcoming generation for a sustainable future, DEWA is concentrated on improving the skills and abilities of Emirati youth.
