Haining, China: Desert Technologies (DT), a leading renewable energy company in Saudi Arabia, has signed a strategic supply agreement with Astronergy for 13 MWp of high-efficiency N-Type photovoltaic modules. The modules will be deployed in a landmark solar project located in the Northern Region of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The agreement represents a key step in advancing Saudi Arabia’s clean energy ambitions and was formally signed by Eng. Mohammed Jamal Baagiel, General Manager of Delivery at Desert Technologies, and Mr. Lin He, General Manager at Astronergy.
Supporting Vision 2030 Renewable Energy Goals
This collaboration aligns closely with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, which prioritizes the development of a diversified and sustainable energy sector. By integrating Astronergy’s advanced N-Type technology, the project is expected to achieve higher efficiency, lower levelized cost of energy (LCOE), and improved long-term performance, while strengthening energy security in the northern region.
