Abu Dhabi Sustainable

Abu Dhabi once again demonstrated its global leadership in climate-focused investment as the Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM), in collaboration with the Global Climate Finance Centre (GCFC), Hanwha, and the EU–GCC Green Transition project, hosted the 8th Abu Dhabi Sustainable Finance Forum (ADSFF).

Held on the final day of Abu Dhabi Finance Week (ADFW), the forum convened international climate-finance experts, policymakers, innovators, and institutional investors. The gathering reinforced the emirate’s growing stature as a leading hub for sustainable finance and a catalyst for the global shift toward net-zero and nature-positive development.

Setting the Tone: Abu Dhabi’s Vision for Climate-Aligned Capital

Opening the forum, Salem Mohammed Al Darei, CEO of ADGM Authority, highlighted Abu Dhabi’s rapid emergence as a powerhouse for sustainable finance. He emphasized the emirate’s role in advancing climate-resilient ecosystems, implementing ambitious policies, and steering capital toward high-impact global solutions.

“Our commitment is clear – Abu Dhabi will continue to serve as the destination where capital finds purpose and purpose finds progress,” he said. He reiterated the emirate’s mission to build bridges between regions and accelerate investments in renewable energy, green technologies, and sustainable innovation across both emerging and established markets.
